Engine fail safe prog

Hello guys looking for help here,driving my e53 x5 3.0l petrol got the following-Engine failsafe prog,along with yellow dsc and abs warning lights,i plugged in my laptop and ran inpa and got this

[Horizon]

Idle speed valve jammed open

Loads of info on Google. I typed in your error code and there was loads of E39 and E46 posts with the 3.0i  engine having the same problem.
I've just bought another 3.0i so hoping I don't get the same problem at some time on the 3 series.
