Electrical fault?
Hi, as I've mentioned before my car has been having trouble starting. I thought it was the fuel pump relay but I now think it might be an electrical fault, as some days the pixels on my dash are missing and unreadable and that's when it has trouble firing up. When the pixels are all there and clear it starts up no problem. Any suggestions?
Re: Electrical fault?
Battery connections all clean and tight....front and rear?
Electrical gremlins are a nightmare to track down but have a look in the battery area to make sure there is no sign of dampness around the modules.

Battery, connection, or dodgy earth

If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
Please note...
Anything I say is only from my personal experience and knowledge..
I don't assume to know everything, and know there is a lot I don't know..
But then I could be talking bollox.. O:-)

Re: Electrical fault?
The garage have diagnosed it as needing a new starter motor.
Re: Electrical fault?
Did the pixels issue show up before, or during engine cranking?
