Hi all,

Had my X5 some time now (18 months!) - thought I'd join and say "Hi!"

Problems I've had with car to date...
  • 4 (yes four!!) punctures - took out a tyre warranty thank god!
  • one cracked front spring - £350
  • one leaking air spring - warranty
  • leaking thermostat - warranty
This isnt a moan btw, just thought I'd share my experiences! I truly love this car - best I've ever had.Image

Hi Cat Man
Welcome to the forum
4 punctures is unlucky but yes, the tyre warranty was a good call!
Glad you're enjoying it

Thanks for the welcome Mars.

I really cant account for the punctures. The car spends most of its life on the motorway! I thought at the time I was duped by the sales guy to buy it, fearing the cost of replacing them (£288 for the last one - I've bought cars for less. Ha). Previously, in the last 25 years of driving I've only ever had 1 puncture.

Bad news is I've hit the limit for claims on the policy. Better hope my luck changes lol

This was one I made earlier...

Hi and welcome to the forum,

Sorry about the bit of back luck very odd about the punctures, were the treads very near the limit as I know that can sometimes account for it,but it's just as easy to pick up a bit rubbish from the roads.

At least it looks like they were generous enough to provide a xmas tree in compensation  :))
