Hi new to the forum.
Will be looking to change my exhaust manifold in the coming weeks as I believe it's cracked and making a terrible noise. What else can I change while I am under the bonnet and got it all striped down. Looking at pictures will be changing glow plugs and may blank off egr is there any other parts to be done. Thanks

Exhaust manifold changing
Re: Exhaust manifold changing
If not already done, check the crankcase breather. It should be a 'vortex' type not a foam 'bog roll'. Plenty of how to's on here.

Absolutely change that Crank Breather - as recommended by X5-Sport .... it could save your engine from destroying itself...
I've seen a diesel engine do a runaway on engine oil splatter - scary, dangerous... and very expensive too...

I would have a look at the turbo too whilst you're in there. It'll be right there in your hand, as it were. Check for axial runout on the shaft, and any oil leaks.
