Hi Toonarmy,

Which scanner did you use?
I can't get my iPhone 6s to pair, it always comes up the the Unsuccessful message.

Thanks
Ryan

If you haven't already done this, make sure you clear out all old pairings first.  Only 4 devices allowed before you need to remove and redo it.

Yeah, I've managed to delete all the previous pairings but as soon as I've punched in the passkey on the phone and hit OK, the phone responds Pairing Unsuccessful.

Irritating because my wife's iPhone 5 pairs with no issues but my new 6s just refuses!

Hiya, we had a similar issue but the other way around; my 6 paired instantly but my wife's 5S wouldn't. I hate to say it but the old turn it off and back on again worked a treat. She rebooted her phone and it connected immediately.  8)

Ok, I have ordered this scanner off eBay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221835742865? ... EBIDX%3AIT

Will be with me near the end of the week and will start playing.
Hope to reset my Service Interval, Diagnose my Bluetooth pairing issue and code some cool features.

Hi toonarmy,

I've tried to pair my 6s via the BMWScanner 1.4 but my phone still comes up with "Unsuccessful Pairing"!
I've followed all the recommendations, cleared all paired devices and rebooted the ULF. Also rebooted my phone a few times for good measure too.

Do you perhaps remember the exact process you followed that worked?
Did you use the factory PIN or 01234567890, or reset the PIN?

This is basically the one last functional item that I'd really love to get working in my X5.

Thanks
Ryan

Just changed from the 6 to a 6s and managed to pair that OK to Gen 1 ulf.

Used INPA - no problems

That was lucky. I have a 2006 so guess my ULF is a later gen and should work.

Is INPA the same software that comes with the BMWScanner1.4. If not, I'll try download it from somewhere and see if I can run it with my BMWScanner.
