I have the VIN number and it's not listed on the spec sheet, but headlamp washers was, so not sure if they're either standard or not?? Can you tell from the above picture?

By Zenon's I'm presuming you are referring to HID's . . . the 20kv lighting with an voltage multiplier etc ??
In which case.... NO... to the bulb behind the projector lens (Dip)
Yes on the inner (main Beam) bulb... the bulb will look like a 4cm glass tube with a long insulated wire running down the side.
My Facelift had standard bulbs but was factory fitted with headlight washers (which never worked)
HIDs are not a standard fit for these older years.
If the seller had fitted HID's.... they would most likely specify them as a selling point.
55Watt HID's are available for under £50 a pair from the internet, and are quite reliable.
I have 100Watt HID's in all 6 forward bulbs.... and got them accurately set, so as not to dazzle on-coming traffic.
These bulbs require special care to fit - NO CONTACT with the bulb, as any dirt of grease on the bulb will instantly destroy it on power-up, additionally make sure you have no condensation in the light housing also.
DO NOT power up the bulbs without fitting them into the light housing AND use the connectors as supplied - DO NOT meddle with the connections or modify them in any way.....
They operate on up to 20,000 Volts ... AND CAN KILL YOU if you get electrocuted with these units.
Fitted correctly, they are harmless & totally safe, and have many built in safety features to ensure the vehicle systems are safe from Over/Under powering or device failure.
Hope this helps.

Do you have a headlight level adjuster on the light switch panel? If you do then HIDs were not fitted at build.
Are you headlights warm white/yellow? Compare dip beam and main beam when all on. Outer (dip) headlights will be blue/white compared to yellowish main (inner) lamps if you have HIDs. All the same colour then standard Halogen filled filament bulbs...even if filled with a bit of Xenon gas.

Well sadly the above car sold, but good to know going forward.
These low mileage X53's don't stick around!

If you're talking about factory spec and you have the reg, you can look up the vin and then the build sheet.

Not sure if it applies universally, but in Australia xenon equipped cars have the washers mounted on the bumper, my halogen fitted car does not have the washers. The car pictured has xenons, (if it was in Oz)
