Where can i get hold of an X-Pipe and/ H-Pipe?
I keep coming accross USA sites but i'm looking for someone/company that is based in the UK.
Link or Contact info. Would be much appreciated.
Also, if the Main cats are removed, apart from failing an MOT, will this cause the engine management light to come on?
If so, is there a way around this? I.e. placing a spacer on the O2 sensor after the main cat (if there is one).

X-Pipe and H-Pipe
Re: X-Pipe and H-Pipe
After doing some further searching, Magnaflow do the X-pipes and H-Pipes.
On their site they have many different versions:
https://www.magnaflow.com/automotive-pe ... /products/
Does anyone know which ones are for the X5 E53 4.8?
Is it
#10771 for the H-Pipe
#10781 for the CrossH-Pipe
#10791 for the X-Pipe
?

Re: X-Pipe and H-Pipe
And knowing that it's an MOT failure, a vehicle type approval failure (Construction & Use Regs a Police/DVSA matter which could lose you the car) and is therefore an illegal mod meaning your insurance is invalidated if they catch you - or if there's an incident meaning the car gets checked thoroughly and this mod found, you want to do it why?

Re: X-Pipe and H-Pipe
Plan is run the X5 on lpg when entering the MOT test station.
I was under the impression that Cats were only required for petrol cars after 1991. So depends what you drive the car into the MOT test station on.
Maybe my misunderstanding.
Cats will stay in place.
