A little X5 love.

Post by Richard137 » Tue Apr 19, 2016 8:09 am

After replacing the sway bar links yesterday and giving her an oil change I have come to the conclusion that this is the best, most interactive car I have ever owned in over 25 years driving!
Over the weekend She has been given a in depth wax and changed the pedals.
Now looking for a straight fit replacement Head unit, But at this present moment in time I am just enjoying the beautiful trouble free drive.

Good for you.  I loved mine (even with its never ending gremlins!) and bought the X6 to replace it.

I think I love this car more than any other I have had in 20 odd years. Its been the most expensive to buy and had the most trinkets bestowed on it :)

Theoretically my new Head unit was a straight swap, albeit with a load of faff! I knew I was going to lose the facility of resetting the time/mpg etc on the dashboard, solved that by just displaying the remaining range.

Niggles? The rattle from somewhere in the boot and the bone crushing sport suspension, but then that's offset when I stick my toe down in a corner and the Beast sticks to the road like glue >:D
