DSP /BM54 question
My X has just started that old chestnut of losing sound on the right side and then it comes back when restarting the car, albeit it vanishes again. :'( I will likely just take it back to the delightful main dealers (those who saw invisible rust on the brakes as per previous posts! ) as it is still under the warranty and see if they just replace random bits like expensive BM54 or DSP amps and subs and whatever else, but just wanted to know whether it was more likely the DSP amp at fault rather than the BM54 unit in a car with DSP. Whatever the cause, its annoying!
