X5 e53 DSP Wiring Diagram

Post by x5e53 » Sun Jul 17, 2016 5:46 pm

I am trying to figure out which wires go to what on the DSP amp.
There are 3 connectors in total.

I believe the larger connector is what goes to the speakers, so any tapping into wires to power speakers from a aftermarket amplifier will need to be done with the wires in this connector.

Can someone share a wiring diagram of the DSP amp, showing which wires go where and what each of the 3 connectors do?

Mines a Facelift 2004 model, 4.8, with widescreen satnav and subwoofer.

3- LH Rear loudspeaker + (Touring LH rear speaker ground)
4- Radio on/antenna signal
5- RH rear loudspeaker + (Touring RH rear +)

8- Terminal 30 connects to Fuse 56

10- Sub 2 -
11- Touring LH rear +
12- Touring RH rear -

24-Right rear mid-range speaker/tweeter -
25-RH front tweeter -
26 RH front woofer -

I have 2 questions.

Q1
The ones highlighted in Bold are the ones I need to tap into?
Essentially, if I am looking at the car from the back, I need the following:

Front Left (Passenger):
Tweeter - 14, 15
Mid (in Dash) - 5, 10
Sub - 1, 2

Front Right (Drivers):
Tweeter - 12, 25
Mid (in Dash) - 4, 9
Sub - 13, 26

Rear Left (Passenger):
Tweeter/Mid - 16, 19

Rear Right (Drivers):
Tweeter/Mid - 11, 24

From a post from Sanj, he states the number of speakers are:
2 in the rear door cards = 4
2 in the front door cards = 4 (up higher near the outside mirrors)
2 in the dash up high (base of the windscreen)

Q2:
My rear doors have 2 speakers, one larger on at the bottom (maybe Sub), and a smaller one a bit further up (Maybe Mid).
But the Connector explanation above does not have this second speaker.
Maybe the above is incorrect?
