Led reverse bulbs

Has anyone got any experience with led reverse light bulbs? Our driveway is pitch black at night and as well as installing lights in the ground I thought about swapping to led reverse lights on the cars. Our old Cayenne had led number plate lights and until I put original bulbs back in I had a constant warning on the dash. I obviously don't want that with the X5- so what options do I have?

I have LEDs in reverse, they look brighter but oddly don't seem as bright in the mirrors?? However, I have a reverse camera and oddly enough the light they give off gives a much clearer picture. As for OBC warnings you will need a load resistor on each LED. There is plenty of room in the bulb area to fit the resistors.
If it makes any difference to you, if you have the ign on, engine off they will pulse when the system does the cold pulse test. Hope this is of some help in your decision making.
