After a jumpstart from neighbour got there without issue, however couldn't stop on way to buy parking light bulb, so had to get it from BMW at the cost of £26

Settled down with laptop in the show room, getting my monies worth of cappuccinos to offset the exorbitant cost of the bulb, to wait for the fail list.
Service advisor came over after a while to inform me car had failed... due to smearing wiper blades.
£33 later and it passed, second year in a row.
Wasn't aware of anything that would fail, but at 10 years and 97k wear and tear can start to kick in and things like CV joints fail without you being aware of it.
Had the car since May 2015, and although it doesn't do that many miles, 13k in 18 months, its been trouble free since I bought it (touches wood), and even though its now 10 years old, still feels incredibly tight.
Had a 16 plate Vauxhall Insignia with 5k on the clock through work a couple of weeks ago, and even though I got an SRI 2.0D auto, with lots of toys, it felt nothing like as nice to drive.
