Having taken my inlet manifold off recently I noticed one of the 11mm M7 flange nuts was missing from the bottom row.
I thought I'd keep another one out so I could look in my garage and see if I could find a match. M7's are not all too common it seems specially with a flange attached.
So onto " the bay" I went to look for replacements,.... BMW nuts... anything from £3.50 to £6.00 for one !!!
Crikey,..surely the ones listed as M7, 11mm head, with flange, 1.0 pitch , priced at 4 for £4.50 will be just as suitable ??? ( off a vespa scooter of all things ).... Can't be THAT much differance,...can there ????

have you checked BMW prices for nuts and bolts, sometimes they can surprise you in a good way.
