Hey guys,
Just want to know if you set your temp to 16c and 3 blue dots on the front vents and the outside temp is like these days very cold, when you turn your AC on do you get full AC cold air or the compressor doesnt engage at all considering the temp you've set in car is 16 and outside is around 3?

Re: AC and climate control in this cold weather
If you put a temperature probe into the air vents the air is around 4degreesC I think, sure I saw an advert for Halfords or something when they guaranteed a certain temperature at the vents.

Re: AC and climate control in this cold weather
I just leave mine at 19/20 with 1 red dot on the dash vent all year round. Never touch it. The wifes car however is a different story. She alters the ac like tuning a car radio..
Re: AC and climate control in this cold weather
Ok but I just wanted to check if everything is working in my car, you know I just bought it last week so just testing things. So is there a way to make the AC work with super cold air regardless of outside temp of 3-4c?

I dont think so. Something to do with relative temperature and climate control. Will try tomorrow if I remember
