Air con

Post by Murphybarnes » Sat Apr 08, 2017 5:57 pm

Just a quickie. No in depth replies required. I know air con systems are very complicated and involved but my temp will not go below 16°c. Just wondering if this is normal. The snowflake button lights up and I assume does what it is supposed to do.
Don't want to get into details
with this but would a regas sort this or should I just live with it. I'm not fussed but when selling on ( God forbid) would be nice to have some info.

All the cars I have had only go down to 16degrees on the controls, but when they are regassed they test the air temperature coming out of the vents at 4 degrees C

16C is the lower limit on BMW Climate Control Systems.  My Škoda is the same.  It will however chill both the glovebox and centre console to below that, so it's just the climate that limits at 16°C.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
