PDC error

Post by centurion » Thu May 18, 2017 12:56 am

Would someone be in position to interpret this error for me pls... eg. Is it referring to a faulty sensor or perhaps a controller? Pls advise.

I think they are individual sensors, but could be wrong. I'd expect more errors if the controller was fried etc

The centre ones at the rear can be accessed via the blanking plate that's for the towbar. ( if you have a towbar, maybe not so easy )
Put your hand in and feel for the rear of the sensor, at the bottom of the sensor holder there is a tab pull the tab and this allows the sensor and holder to be easily pushed out, then you can unplug the cable.
The new sensor will need to be fitted into the holder . Put it all back in and job done 5 Minute  job the second time you do it, as said fiddly first time until you see how the tab/ securing ring works.

Are the rest of your sensors still working? My car gives the long beep from the front speaker when I put it in reverse now, but the rear sensors still appear to function. I thought if 1 was faulty they all stopped working.

What software did you use to scan?

I had a faulty one on the back but the front ones still worked.
Did get the long bleep when first put in reverse and the flashing green.
