I just retrofitted my car with UGDO (white 3 pins) and works perfectly... There was a chuck of other cable sockets (bulky ones) which were hanging on the roof unplug to anything.. However I came a across a 2 wire plugs that caught my attention.. One is flat "black 6 pins" and a flat "blue 3 pins"
Just wondering what they are for?
My car came with TCU BMW Assist but does not have the SOS switch at the roof linear.

Re: Black flat (6 Pins) for SOS Switch or Sunroof Switch?
They are possibly for different mirrors (such as auto-dimming or with a compass or summat) and possibly the Homelink remote?
The SOS button came on the next generation E70/71 but Assist was part of the Telematics option I think? Can't remember what mine came with and whether there was an Assist option on the Nav head display? I know I had Assist but never used it.

Homelink is the white 3 pins which I just retrofit... I am guessing the black 5 pins are for the sunroof and bunch of others are for sunroof too. Only curiosity is the grey 3pin..
I also just install the mirror compass couple days ago.. it's just uses the same wire for the mirror.. plug and play
Will take some pictures for better clarification
