Can anyone tell me where i can find this if there is one without removing the under panels.need to order the service kit and just need to be 100%.would mine be a metal or plastic pan on a 2004 3.0d?

If it's the Gearbox model number you are after so you can buy a service kit for it, type you Vin into Real OEM and go to gearbox, it will give you gearbox type/ model and service kit and oil details.
You can then use the gearbox details on EBay. They do kits including lifeguard 6 oil ( 6 litres I think ) but as all the oil doesn't come out as some is trapped in the TC you won't get it all in.
Make sure you can get the fill plug out before draining.
