MOT

Post by henrym3 » Fri Oct 20, 2017 7:44 pm

Realised last night it was due while away up north, my local station took it in at 9 this morning, no problems or advisories did notice that they put it on the rollers and apart from doing each axle as it were, they did each individual wheel station as well. Is it just an E70 thing where they don't. Hasn't had any effect on anything.

Yea, mine is all wheel drive, facelift is xdrive and I believe they shouldn't do that sort of thing, someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Sounds odd to me.  I can understand a brake roller with one wheel then the other to get differential efficiency between wheels but the other side should be rolling just not measured.  Ideally all 4 wheels should be rotating as it has permanent AWD.

It sounds as if they are not equipped to do AWD vehicles?

Mine was tested last Saturday and brakes tested with a Tapley brake efficiency meter on the road.
