Radio not working

Hi all just fitted a new head unit factory bmw one but all i get
Is the screen comes on and then gos out but thats it none
Of the buttons work >:( do i have to reset it or something

When you say new, do you mean brand new, or new to you.
When I get new controllers at work, they have no firmware/ software in them so I have to flash the relevant software on before it will do anything.
Where did you buy it from ?

Did this replace a broken screen or the non Nav radio?

Hi yes , all what was wrong with  my one it had a lot of pixels missing,  so I bought a eonon  radio with sat nav and so on fitted
That no problems but takes along time to boot up so I thought  I would put the original one back in, that's why I bought your one,
My original one  has sat nav tv Bluetooth  so it should be a straight swop (so I thought)

I would’ve thought so too, unless something had happened to the rest of the system during the period you had the Eonin fitted.
