Also Thanks to Sadiq Khan, these deisels are now worthless and I have to start looking for another similar aged Petrol x5. Not keen on spending much now that I'm only averaging 2.5k Miles yearly

As a (long ago) ex Londoner, I'm so pleased i haven't lived there for years but what's the deal with these impositions, can government legally render your vehicle unusable within these new boundaries. Is there no dispensation or even compensation for existing residents when rules are suddenly changed like this?

You can use your car, it just costs £12-50 a day. Similar schemes are coming for Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester. EU6 is the minimum now for diesel (so 2016 or newer), EU4 for petrol. There will the thousands of London residents, or near London residents travelling in and out who will be affected (and many unable to afford a newer model) but the Mayor doesn’t care. I only realised how big the new area is having seen this thread!!
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
