X5 Key Battery

Hi,

I have a 2003 x5 and one of the keys works fine to lock and unlock the doors, but the other key dosen't work at all. Does anyone know how to replace the battery and will it need re-programming?
the key has a BMW sign in the middle with arrow on button and a boot sign on the other.

I thought the battery was permanently charged when the key is in the ignition? Perhap unlock the car with the 'good' key then start and run the car with the flat battery item

Hello mate try reprogramming it first it has probably just lost it's code which is quite common.
It's an easy job no tools needed and takes a few mins should tell you in hand book, if not pm me your number and I will talk you through it.
