Hi does anyone know what software I need to turn on beep when I unlock or lock my car ?? Many thanks Paul

Don't do it mate coz they sounds like you got a £9.99 Halfords "easy steal" alarm fitted !!

My Dealer actually refused to enable it in 2005 as it was not 'in keeping' with BMW in the UK. He said that whilst it was acceptable in the US, it really was not here! At the time I was a little taken aback, as it was an introduction to some surprising bias, but I'm sort of glad he refused.
Thinking back, I'm surprised they let me buy one in the first place. I mean I was driving a cheap Audi at the time - aka a Skoda Octavia Estate (it was the Lauren & Klement version though)

Personally I like the beep/flash so I know it's locked/unlocked as I'm walking away or towards it.
