ipod connection

i know this has been discussed many times but i havent been paying much attention to the x5 for a while. can someone refresh me what is required again. intravee, alpine kca which goes in the back. plus i was intending to put screens in the headrests, but the little one has stolen my ipad off me, is there a way of integrating the ipad so the sound comes out of the speakers or would that be a silly idea. im not good when it comes to technical stuff sory. would the ipod connection not work with the ipad as well.

I'm gonna go the Dice media bridge route and put my music on USB

the 1500 model seems hard to beat at the price point.....?

Not yet... Quite like the idea and extra function of the intravee but finding everything needed at a decent price is a pain... Need to try harder or just buy the media bridge soon my cd player jumps and skips all over the place
