Good price if you've got oem parts, I won't touch parts that are not oem or made by oem manufacturer (same part without BMW logo) as if found out the hard way that pattern parts are usually slightly out on dimensions causing set up problems, usually weaker and bushes cheaper and last less than half the time.... I am a fussy f**ker though

Re: does anyone know who makes the OEM upper wishbones?
mines are made by a german company but not oem..made a huge difference on the ride though..
i don't blame you for watching out for yourself..oem is the best way to go but the prices on oem parts suck.

As long as there same manufacturer with out BMW stamp I'm happy.... I think oem upper arms are around £180 from dealer but lemforder from eurocarparts around £80
Re: does anyone know who makes the OEM upper wishbones?
that's over %50 discount..that's not bad if you are getting oem quality
but one think i learned the hard way was if you change a part on one side the other parts will start going bad as the new part will make a change on how the parts assemble.

Oh by the way stewie I have a tip for you. Before you jack car up, measure centre of the wheel to top of wheel arch and record that for later. Once youve changed the part but before you torque up to the right tension, get your jack under the hub and jack it up till centre of the hub and the wheel arch match up with your original measurement. If done this way they will be torqued up under load like there meant to be and the bushes will last a lot longer as they won't have the extra torsion you get when everything it tightened up when the cars on the ground

DM,
Im looking at the upper arms on Euro vs the same part from BMW parts.
ON the ECP website, it states "Extra Information with hydro bearing and without joint (tension rod)"
Does BMW part come with joint(tension rod)
