In there a concensus of opinion on the best oil to use on the 218 bhp 3.0D? I'm being lazy - not even looked at the manual for what spec is required :oops:

Make sure it's the Edge version that meets BMW LL04 - there's more than one formulation/recipe - though what the real difference is I don't know. The VW/Audi version probably has cock-ring nutrients in it :D

Keep your eye out at halfords too. You just missed out on there deal for castrol edge fully synth 4l for £17.50

Positive. I bought 8l for £35 sitting ready for when I give the beast a good service (car not missus) Costco had it cheap too a month or 2 ago

Oh Nuts !!! And I work just over the road from Hellfrauds too. I'll have to wander in there from time to time and just close my eyes to all the stick-on crap they are flogging these days.
