BMW Multi Tool User Manual

New BMW Multi tool V1.2 can be used to:
1. Read / Write EEPROM, Save / Load File;

2. Read / Write Odometer:
BMW multi tool read and change the mileage stored in CAS system, but NOT the mileage in instrument panel.
So if you want to change the mileage values in instrument, you should change it in CAS system first. And modify the mileage in instrument manually.

3. Synchronization Codes:
- CAS3 code-DME, CAS3code-EGS: Read and write DME and EGS code stored in CAS3 system.
- Synchronize DME and CAS— this will be useful while prepare dealer key or any other operation which cause can’t start the engine.
- Synchronize CAS and ELV — this can help clear wheel errors

4. Key Learn Function:
Get/Save/Load Key Info; Make Dealer Key; Add Key; Enable/Disable Key; Clear DTC; Clear Shadow.

it's different from bmw scanner 1.4.0.
I mean this is a new one that I recently found....Someone call it bmw multi tool key programmer, but it's obviously not only a key programmer.
I wonder if anyone have experience with it or does it worth trying...

The stuff you've described above is also done with the BMW scanner 1.4.0 only with a much much better GUI. Even INPA has a better GUI. I would waste my time or money on the thing your advertising

yes bmw scanner 1.4.0 is a nice one, reading DTCs write eeprom.
what i'm concerned is bmw multi tool can be used as a key programmer.
I guess that why it's so expensive ...orz
