4.6iS headlights changed, anyone seen these ?

Still on my search for a car, and there is one for sale but its a fair few miles away, sale said it had Angel Eyes which I now am assured it should not have, gentleman has kindly sent me some photo's and said that they had caused no problems in over 3 years use.

Has anyone used these before ? Do they use the BMW zenon bits or are the zenons after market as well ? would they affect any self levelling headlight adjustment the car may have ?

It sounds a nice car, but its a long way to go, how much to put the original lights back in ? (and revert the grill back to original

There was at one time an aftermarket kit that added CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Light) Angel eyes to the OEM light unit.....those lights actually look like the later generation light anyway as they are clear euro type by the looks of it.

What's the year of that car?

my 4.6is has angel lights and i put them on it. it might be aftermarket.

X5Sport its a 2003 model
kkodal78 they are definitely aftermarket

Lights are lights, but should they be self-levelling in the E53 4.6iS (they are in my 2000yr 330iSE) ?
This is just another thing that I will need to check on any prospective purchase, I now dont know anything about these headlights. I know very little about the mechanics of cars, which is always worrying when buying a car, I can only manage to press all the buttons and make sure all the 'gadgets' work or not, so I dont really need any extra queries on whether they are still adjustable?, whether they still use BMW's Zenon bulbs?

Just a born worrier, as this is a big purchase for me

Any Xenon OEM fitting will (or should) have auto levelling from the factory. So definitely a question to ask, given the MOT changes now in place since January this year.

I just brought an estoril blue 4.6is to

Beware though as there is a very very dodgy car on auto trader and I told the police about it but it's still on there

If there is a really dodgy car why not post a link up to it so hopefully no one buys it or at least people are warned, thanks
