Help - Battery Light

Battery Light staying on. after Automatic Transmission Fluid change.

It's a new battery and is fully charged.

Any ideas?

Alternator not connected? Should be a 'sense' wire which is much thinner as well as the main charging cable. Could be the wire is either not connected at one end, or broken. Or the alternator has failed. It's the only error I can think of that would bring the battery light on. Or a broken / very loose belt.
