I didn't know you could. Given each database has a unique licence key required and this is generated from the individual vehicle VIN each time you update the map database, I suspect it might be a struggle. The 'keys' come with the updates and as indicated are car specific. The map database owners have introduced far tougher copy protection controls than were in place on earlier versions.

Discussion of non-legit Satnav discs/data etc is actively discouraged on the forum because of the legal issues around these databases.

I have a Road Angel 'Vantage' installed in the car. Updates itself live via Orange Data Services. Probably more accurate than most other ways. Includes more up to date area speed limits too. Not perfect, but the best I've found to date, and all legit.
