it is possible to get a usb stick as a msic input into the bmw factory stereo? i have the full comms pack with sat nav tv and screen up front? thanks

Don't think so... You can install a dice media bridge, which I was gonna do but went with the intravee in the end

Remember, you have a cassette player too (of joy!)....what were they thinking! Even our 3 series had a MiniDisc head unit!!

I think I stopped using music cassettes 10 years ago.

im 26, whats a cassette???? joke but even i was on cds before i left primary school!!!

The first ipod/MP3 player kit from BMW. Cost £149 and I had it on mine. That mod simply added a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack carrying analogue signals. There's no digital USB input. No control over the device, just headphone out to in on the car. Even the master volume was on the MP3 player and had to be set to max for use in the car.
