Changing stuff with the 1.4 scanner

Post by sapphireblack » Sun Apr 22, 2012 9:38 am

Following on from a previous post and my desire to switch off the tyre pressure monitor warning gong and display, my scanner has now arrived and Tuesday will see me take a bold step ;) While ''in there' doing that, can anyone point me to where i will find options for the remote locking?

Currently the car is default set i.e. indicators flash once when locking and nothing when unlocking which i'd like to change to two flashes. I assume this is easy stuff for those of you in the know, but it's all new to me so a little help would be appreciated, please :)

If your gomna play then take screenshots of the settings before you change anything... You can always revert back then.

I changed mine to bleep on lock. The amount of times I wandered back to make sure it had locked before I changed that was annoying, although I could realistically turn that off again now as mirrors fold on lock and unfold on unlock as I have an intravee. I can tell at a glance now

Hey guys , I no is gonna sound like a stupid question.. But with the mirrors folding with the intravee , I suspect u'll have to have factory powered folding mirrors? Coz mine hasn't got the switch for it :(

sapphireblack, re lock/unlock configs look in the ZKE3 coding screen, see below for screen shots:

AldoG420 - answer to your 'stupid' question :) - yeah the mirrors fold only if u have it as a factory fitting. if u haven't got it it aint gonna work. same as mine :(
