Maybe for sale soon

Post by dirtymonkey29 » Mon May 07, 2012 6:19 pm

Well I've been given 3 weeks notice at work so may have to sell my E53 3.0d sport (54 plate) if anyone is looking for sterling grey facelift in the near future.

I'm really sorry to read this. It happened to me in 2003 and I never saw it coming. 24 years a Civil Servant, next thing a thanks, but no thanks, have a nice life letter. :o

If you can hold on to the E53 do it! The outcome for me was very positive....

Don't jump into anything yet, the loss on a sale could be substantial and perhaps not required.

It could be the start of a lucrative consultancy chance. Sometimes you have to be forced to make a change which is not always for the worse. Good luck.

Maybe for sale soon

If I can keep hold I will. If it gets to the point I need to feed the family it will have to go. Was just pricing up towbars so I can transport the bike. At least it's not Christmas.

Sorry to hear that bud, wishing you the best what ever lies around the corner. As previously said sometimes a bad situation leads to a happier life

Not nice to hear (situation I hope never to be in). :(

If any of us can help in any way, let us know. As already mentioned, is consultancy/going your own way an option?

Best of luck as always buddy.

Always hard the thought of being out of work and having no money coming in but something will happen, always does, sometimes for the better. You don't realise sometimes what you were stuck in before something like this happens.

I am also negotiating a new job at the moment, I have had enough of this one and also there are Visa issues meaning I could be out of paid work for a couple of weeks before my visa is granted. Proactive rather than reactive.

Good luck.
