Rear door cards

Post by weirdfish » Mon May 07, 2012 10:37 am

I have to remove my rear door cards, are there any tips, tricks or hidden screws so as not to break anything.

Sanj and Jigs just have....

But from memory, doorcards have a couple of screws behind the trim piece at the top of the panel, 1 behind little plastic airbag cover, 1 in the pocket and normally 2 at the very bottom. Take out puddle light under panel too. Then it's just poppers that hold it on. Normally start from bottom front corner and gently pull away. Be careful of door handle cable and speaker/window wires. Once all poppers released lift/slide the panel upwards.

You've got my number Steve if needed.

You also need to be careful of the light guide that takes light from an LED to the door handle. Its pretty fragile and it you pull the door card too far away from the door the guide will break.
Good luck,
