Air con buttons

Post by dirtymonkey29 » Fri Jun 15, 2012 6:13 pm

Grrr two buttons have fallen off my air con control panel, fallen behind the ashtray and disappeared somewhere behind the centre console.  I had a quick look but will probably need to completely remove the centre console to get to them.

Does anyone have any spares? Need the button that turns the air con on and off and the heat increase button for the drivers side

I'm sure most similar age BMW buttons are the same. Certainly my E46 aircon buttons look the same as the X's

Yeah.  E39 and E53 are the same and I'm sure there will be others too.  There hard to find individually although there is a joker on eBay selling buttons for £10!  BMW sell the full set for £74 including vat but not individually.

Hi there,
Same happened to me, the red and blur buttos were falling off all the time. BMW only sell thebuttons as a full set £125 !!! I got some retrofit ones off ebay, came from Germany.
You can buy a set of red and blue, ( hot and cold buttons ) as a kit or the individual buttons as seperates. came in an envelope from Germany in a ouple  of days, perfect fit not OEM but you wouldnt know.
Just do a search on  Ebay.

Hi,
Try typing        int.qualitytrade          into Google, it gives you a link to their site on ebay,      int.qualitytrade/ebay.
I could not access the site by going into ebay's search, but just tried it via Google and it gave me a link to ebay site.
Hope it works for you      any probs let me know and I will try to get a proper link on to the forum, but im a newby and dont know how to use the site yet!
