Never heard of a reading that high before!

I am at 175, so I suspect that my vessel should last about 3 times longer than yours ...

Welcome to East Anglia!!  Readings are in the range of 430 to 550.  Not sure if the TDS is OK, although bought from Amazon and 'calibrated'. ;)

Looks like it is working OK.  Rainwater gives 14ppm ad the water butts between 40 and 65.  Mains water is 530-550 toay.

I take it a water butt won't provide enough 'fall' to give sufficient pressure?  I may have to get clever with the Karcher Pump - at least as clever as an old engineer like me can....... :-[ :))

It can produce just over 1bar which is well inside the SWP limits of the DI Vessels.  Just need to get the micro filter into the lines.

Total Dissolved Solids = aka how much lime-scale etc is dissolved in the water.

That's the one I've bought too. Will see what sort of readings we get here in Wolverhampton.

I bought a TDS meter from the vessel supplier and our water from the tap reads 225ppm.

That'll teach me to read it when tired!! :)) :))

I bought this one, but I don't suppose there's any real difference other than price.  It even looks of a similar 'family' of products as the one others have bought.
