Hi does anyone know if the towing eye bolt thread is standard across the range of all BMW's?
i.e. will a towing eye bolt off a BMW E46 3 SERIES fit the X5 Tow Bolt hole?

It's apparently called a 'Towing Hinge' (no I don't know who came up with the name, but well now you know too.... :blink: ) and is common across all these models, but the E46 one is not listed as being compatible.
