Replacement Mats

Post by Franknstein » Wed Oct 03, 2012 4:59 pm

Anyone have a lead for a good set of replacement floor mats (black velour) for my x5?
It came with an aftermarket set, which are 'universal', so dont in anyway shape or form fit the contours of the floor. They look ridiculous.

I see loads of 'tailored' mats on ebay, some even with the plastic clips for the drivers mat, and they are quite reasonable at £20 -£30. But as its a postage stamp picture, I would probably be disappointed when they arrive like many things I buy when I think they are cheap.

I dont really want to spend £120 on a set from BMW either though, somewhere around the £60 mark would be far easier for me.

Any thoughts?

I've got a set of aftermarket tailored ones in mine - it came with a Beige Set at delivery and now has a Black set. Can't remember where I got them, but they were about £25 delivered and I picked the 'Luxury' version.

It was something like CarMats UK or other.  Even had the Velcro attachment pads.

£120 from BMW for he same thing is taking the wee.

There is a company advertising I think in BMW Car , they have OEM direct from the makers for
very reasonable price . I bought set for my E36 and they were less than £50 , but I can't remember
their name . It might be CarMats like Richard said , but I don't think so . I'll try to find my receipt .
