Well according to the write up its the right one and 4 year warranty seems fair.  I would however call them first as I often feel that talking to dealers helps get a feel for the type of firm they are.

S5 better for 'cold' starts, and another year on the warranty too...... :ok:

Look for a YUASA 019T. That's what I fitted - its cheaper than the Bosch S4 and has more beef.

We sell Bosch and Yuasa, never get many problems with either.

Alan mentioned that 'he sells them' maybe worth enquiring with him before spending your hard earned cash on eBay.

I work for a trade parts supplier. Don't mind trying to help anyone out - but cost of carriage could well outweigh Internet shopping.

Back to work - Amended my post. I put in the wrong part number. 019T is the one you want. It is approx the same price as a Bosch S4013 but

Yuasa 900 Cold Cranking / 100ah / 3yr warranty
Bosch s4 800 Cold Cranking / 95ah / 4 yr warranty

I have just fitted a new battery to my E53  got the S5, all works great BUT i have now lost the clock and other bit off the dash (just below the speedo) after disconnecting the battery. Is there a way of getting this back up ?
