Rear air spring change

Post by Ubatoid » Sat Nov 24, 2012 5:57 pm

The old girl has been sitting down at the back in the mornings and the pump runs every startup so it looks like it is time for a spring change. I did a bit of poling around and the best I could find was £120 each. Now Ive used Arnotts springs on my old Range Rover in the past so I finally ended up ordering a pair of replacements from the states. All in they came in at £200 + - including shipping and taxes, so still a good saving and the quality as previous is OE. I managed to fit one today in the pouring rain out in the street, but gave up on doing the second until a break in the weather. Any how, just wanted to say anyone thinking of doing this job, it really is a piece of cake. I will do a photo story if anyones intrested - let me know and I will take some pictures when I do the other one.

Well done and rears are straight forward as you say.

I've got advertise my air suspension components I removed when going to coilovers. You could of had my rear air springs for £100 (used though obviously).
