LED Angel Eyes - Bright & White, Which ones?
As the title says, now in a position to swap out my angel eyes with LED's, but want them to be bright & white. Can anyone recommend any or advise to stay away from ones. Not looking to spend silly money.
I would also like them to be noticable during the daytime.

If you are looking for something that matches the output of the current LCI X5/X6 models and other current BMWs with OEM LED Angel Eyes then there really isn't anything out there unless you really do want to spend silly money - I think you would need some kind of HID conversion just for them..
I used the kit from Hids4u. Worked fine and are just plug and play. Visible in daylight, but not as bright as the BMW equivalents.
You can get similar kits from other places, but I have no experience of how they are 'in use'.

What wattage are they? 3w or 5w?

These are more than fine for the job. You can purchase very expensive alternatives but tbh they give pretty much the same brightness. I haven't come across a set yet that are bright enough throughout the daytime to be seen clearly.

I already have the ones from Hid's direct and was pretty dissapointed with them to be honest - not very bright at all you cannot see them in daylight exept when it is very overcast they look good at night though.
I will be ordering a set of these within the next couple of weeks
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280993246952? ... 1423.l2649
I will post if they are any good and if they are not they will be going straight back as the listing says "Nearly as bright as the new BMWs with factory fitted LED rings"
I would imagine they will be pretty good as they are 25w we will see soon.
Unless anyone beats me to it or already has them.

Obviously, the car has 4 angel eyes, does that mean 4 LED units are required or did I read that only 1 unit is required per side.

One led each side as it feeds 2 fibre optics (one for each ring).

Re: LED Angel Eyes - Bright & White, Which ones?
I have some 3w ones in mine. They are definitely white. I would say they look a bit brighter than oem. If you want a lot brighter then definitely go higher than 3w.
HID Xenons, White Angel Eyes, LED No Plate Lamps, LED Puddle Lamps. Oh and remap soon >:D

I'd be interested in a set of these if they are going to bright during daylight hours. 25w certainly is a lot for sure.
