Very handy tool when loading the boot with awkward shapes as you can adjust the seat to exactly where it's wanted.  Had them on mine, along with the pull out load floor, and would have put them on the X6 if they'd been available.

I have them, actually really useful for the kids to recline themsleves when wanting to sleep etc, but i agree- a bit of a luxury.

I think Raj has done a retrofit of them.

I do fancy the pull out load floor- i think a retrofit of that has been done by someone on xoutpost but REALLY pricey.......

Electric Rears - any need?!

Post by garethdeb » Mon Jan 21, 2013 1:51 pm

I have the sliding out boot floor. To be honest, I find it a pain as it raises the height of the floor a couple of inches and leaves a big channel down the sides for crap to collect.
So if anyone wants it they are welcome to come and take it out and swap it with their normal boot floor.
I'm in the West Sussex area.

I've done the retrofit and as kkodal has said he has bought the extra motors and switches I had too. Kids and adults alike love them. With seats reclined and heated and the rear screens I actually think the rear of my X is a superb place to be.....lol

"Factory tow hitch"!!????

Looks like some one has reversed into an RSJ!!!
Surely factory fit should be hidden like over here??!
If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....

Electric load floor was one of the options i was looking for. Never found a model with one in to look at - probably just as well otherwise i'd still be looking for a car that ticked all the correct boxes. Have got heated electric reclining rear seats though and rear air con....but no kids to appreciate it!
