I have just noticed that the oil service indicator has come on today 55 plate, 3.0 d sport. It has 101K on the clock.
It has a full BMWSH to date, I changed the oil ( Castrol Edge TD. ) oil filter, air filter, cabin filters checked breather, it is the vortex type. 5,000 miles ago
Is it worth keeping up the BMWSH , or should I get it serviced at the garage around the corner, with me supplying the oil and filter so I know that the oil is the correct grade.
A 55 plate is only worth about 8/8.5 K, so would it make any difference to a trade in or a private sale?
Sorry if this has been done to death. Is a stamp in the book worth the extra from BMW
Thanks for any comments
Also, how much is it for a BMW oil change service, if anyone has had theirs done recently.

Re: Oil change service due BMW or other?
My last oil change was £130 all in from a BMW Dealer.
BMWFSH at that age is nice but not critical.

Re: Oil change service due BMW or other?
Due to age of mine my indy could not match the main dealer for oil filter & labour........thus even though over 100k it's dealer for mine & adding to stamp collection.
Gone - 2002 E53 X5 4.4i Sport (Pre Facelift) Owned 2006-2016.
