I used to divert mine to whatever phone was in the car, now don't bother, some people have the car phone number and will make incoming calls, and I use it to phone out occasionally.  Other calls can wait till I pick them up.  Its been fine this way and I had no intention of changing just for changings sake, but if the k800i is packing up I may as well make a change and plug my iphone 4s in, if its an easy upgrade.

I started by diverting calls from my Phone to the Phone in the car (I had a PAYG sim in the car) but I kept either forgetting to divert or worse forgetting to cancel it (to many years of good bluetooth).

I looked at changing the in car system to Bluetooth, why do car manufacturers think this is so expensive ?? The prices were stupid, even buying parts from Ebay was expensive, also my sat nav was Mk3 CD based so restricted. In the end I had a Hualingan Headunit fitted so now I have Radio, Bluetooth, Full European GPS with post code search, Ipod (Pictures, Video, Music) DVD/CD, DVB TV, USB, Aux, Rear View Camera and a load of stuff I probably wont ever find out about or need and all for less than the cost of just the Bluetooth parts for the original system plus I have gained a storage box in the arm rest.
