Led interior kit
Re: Led interior kit
Did you stick it to the reflector, shining down or on the lens shining at the reflector? What did you do with the wires? Could you possibly upload a pic?
Re: Led interior kit
You can unscrew two screws from the back and put the map lights through from the back.
I found the same that I needed all shorter- I just bent the connections a bit to squeeze in the longer ones and all worked fine

Re: Led interior kit
I've had a mess around with the LED panels and got them to fit, albeit with a little modification. I modified the lights from this:

to this:

The wiring has been relocated to the centre of the panel, some extra adhesive foam added to fill the gap in the dome and the bulb holder has been shortened to allow the wires to come out sideways. I then stuck it to the reflector like this:

I removed the black plastic bulb holder circuit board and fed the wires out the side opposite side to the switches and brought the wire from the modified bulb holder out the same way. If you keep the plug outside like this then if you have it connected the wrong way round it's simple to switch the plug around when you've connected it back to the loom.

Re: Led interior kit
Looks really good mate! On closer inspection my LED square has fallen down now as the adhesive pads have lost their stickiness. If I ever get round to it one day I will do what you have very clever!
Are you happy with the brightness of the lights?

Yeah, they are really bright. I was sent a seemingly random selection of bulbs though so for the time being have wedged the longer festoons in there. Jack (I'm suspecting his real names is somewhat more oriental) is sending me some more 39mm ones so will be all good in time. I just need 2 more now for the external puddle lights on the mirrors.
Might give these ones a try:

Good glad your liking them. Ha yes I very much doubt his real name is anywhere near Jack.
I wanted to do the wing mirror lights just didn't know how to get to them. Is it a easy job to change do you think?

May be worth searching for "mirror glass replacement" surely after the glass is out of the way the light should be easy to get at. Nice mod above by the way

Re: Led interior kit
I found some info about it and if I remember correctly you get at them from behind the cover, rather than removing the glass. Care needs to be taken not to damage the clips though.
