My 4.6 had the leccy rears and I thought there was so little movement it was hardly worth it.

Heated rears would have been nice but even the LeMans doen't have those.

I already had the heated rears and did the retrofit of the electric reclining rears. May only seem a small relative movement but my kids notice the difference and I do too when in their booster seats.

Same as Raj - my 4.6 as the electric rears and its a godsend with kids in boosters - my son normally falls asleep in his chair and his hangs forward - in the X5 that extra recline is just enough to keep his head back when he's asleep which is great.

I have the sliding floor but it makes a rattle noise over bumps, I would remove it but it allows for a bigger LPG tank.

I think I'm right in saying that there was thread on the old site about the heated rear seats. Sure some e53's had the rear seat base already pre-wired for heated seats. It was just a case of adding fuses and switchs in the rear console. Worth a look for anyone who doesn't have them. Nice option to have if you've got them.

As for the retracting load floor. A waste of space in my opinion, reduces load space and as said above stuff falls down the graps on each side.

I think the wiring may be there to supply the seats heating elements but the elements themselves aren't usually in the rear seats unless part of the original spec.  (That's how it was on my 2004 E53...)

The E53 is well pre-wired for most options so you tend to just have to source the hardware itself.
