Update disc for sat nav.

Evening all, I have purchased this update disc for the satnav.

But is there an update for the complete unit as a whole, colours, different screen layout etc, is it something i can do with the scanner once it comes?

Also it is annoying when playing CD's that it doesn't tell you the CD title or track, stupid question but what is the intravee cable that so many of you have, is it just a cable that plugs into the back of the unit that allows the playing of an ipod or hd etc.

You need to see this thread. Non OEM discs are forbidden on the forum.

You need an MP3 capable CD player (late 2005 production) onwards to get ID3 tags. You dealer can update you to OS V32 but the layout, colours etc are the same on the Nav. You can enable 'perspective view' as well. It's in one of the settings menus - but I can't remember exactly where/how now I don't have an E53 anymore. The map discs are just that, maps.
