Facelift lights fit?

Post by Jamee » Sun Apr 07, 2013 9:04 pm

Evening all, hope you have all had a nice weekend.
Just a quick question, will headlights from an 04/05 fit an 02, I hate the orange lens bit on mine, and the fact they are horrible yellow halogen and not xenon or have angel eyes, Ive read it is to hard to fit xenons.

Any ideas?

Looking nice Phil, mine hasnt got xenons as standard so will have to just buy the depo ones with angel eyes.
Was thinking of something like these when i raise the cash.

Is there a way to just remove the orange out of the headlights?  ;)

yes you can.

These were my OEM xenons on my previous X5. One light cleaned out, the other still to be done. the orange you see is just the bulb.

My 4.6 came with the depos, but I want some OEM's so that I can do the same again and fit my own angel eyes to it. I think the clean OEM's with angel eyes added is the better look.

Would love to but the OP has halogen's!

Ideally I want to buy the OEM xenons, take my time doing my thing, then sell mine when I've fitted the OEM;s

I couldn't swap because I'd need some crossover time. I don't suppose you would want to sell yours?

Although saying that, I've got a low compression issue that I need to sort before I even start thinking about headlights!
