Hi all, im in Australia and have generally sourced my spare parts from the US, however i have a leaking hose
going from the motor to the aux heater, and i cant get it from the US, the part is not even available here in Aus
im being told its BMW specific.
on realoem in the "water pump, valves, hoses" page im after item "12" and "10"
pn hose engine inlet 64218409061 and pn hose engine inlet 64218381224
can you guys recommend an independent parts supply house in the UK i could try??
all said however the problem of leaking is at the joining piece half way along the hose its corroding, and im wondering if i cant just take it out and fit an alternative connector or even a length of copper pipe, maybe its a restrictor??
i dont know i guess im going to have to pull it apart
oh sorry its a 2005 3.0d sport (e53)
thanks
Ewen

Parts suppliers in the UK
Re: Parts suppliers in the UK
If buying from overseas I wouldn't chance aftermarket parts of this nature & would source original BMW items.
Try emailing Cotswold BMW they are a main dealer & very enthusiast friendly.
Tell them you were recommended by this site & maybe try to ask for a discount. If not they will give discount if you are a member of bmwland.
http://cotswoldmotorgroupbmw.netdirecto ... /contactUs
They mail to customers in the UK but I suspect you would have to ask for a quote for overseas mailing
If they wont then only option is to get someone in u.k. to get the parts from them or a local main dealer by order & pay that person for the parts plus international post via paypal or bank transfer in advance. Post cost will depend on weight and service provider though.
