Does new HP fuel pump need coding by BMW

Does anyone know if a new HP diesel pump requires coding from BMW after installing or is it a straight swap out.

Pretty sure it's a straight swap. On a side the injectors on pre-facelift do not need coding, but facelift ones do.
E70 3.0D SE, Black with Black - Gone but not forgotten!  >:D

Straight swap mate but tool needed to hold drive gear in place in timing case when swapping.
Defiantly no programming .
